Wetland Technical Advisory Committee

The Wetland Technical Advisory Committee (WTAC) is made up of County, Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) and State representatives and is responsible for the following duties.

1.	Review questions of exemption and no net loss certifications particularly those relating to wetland plant community, type and size.
2.	Review and make recommendations regarding wetland replacement and banking  plans.
3.	Review and make recommendations on Cease and Desist Orders and enforcement cases.
4.	Review wetland restoration orders prepared by the Soil and Water Conservation District.
5.	Monitor replaced wetlands in accordance with Minnesota Conservation Act.

Current Year Agendas for WTAC Meetings

The following are the agendas and meeting summaries for each Wetland Technical Advisory Committee meeting held in the current year. The meeting agenda will be posted approximately 5-7 days prior to each meeting. The meeting summaries for that meeting will usually be posted 10-15 days after the meeting.

The deadline for application is the one week prior to the meeting which is held the third Wednesday of each month.
