A growing number of children and families are homeless in our communities. Join Minnesota Power and the Heading Home St. Louis County team to help raise funds to end homelessness in St. Louis County and to encourage energy efficiency in homes. When you purchase select energy-saving products or turn in your old refrigerator or freezer, you are ensuring that Minnesota Power makes a contribution to the Heading Home St. Louis County Ending Homelessness fund (up to a maximum of $10,000). You will also get a rebate and start saving energy in your home. You must be a Minnesota Power residential, retail customer to participate in the rebate and contribution.  read more ...

In northeastern Minnesota, we've built a coalition of 7 county public health departments (Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake and St. Louis) and 3 tribal health agencies (Fond du Lac, Bois Forte, and Grand Portage) to prepare for specifically for public health emergencies. We work closely with other coalitions including all 16 hospitals, clinics, mental health providers, pharmacists, local & regional emergency managers, local & regional law enforcement, regional EMS & First Responders, volunteer organizations and community fire departments.
