St. Louis County Public Health Confirms Duluth Area H1N1 Flu Clinics
The St. Louis County Public Health & Human Services Department has confirmed an adequate supply of the H1N1 Influenza vaccine has been secured to conduct Flu Clinics in the Duluth area on the last Saturday and Monday of November. Public Health Nurses will hold H1N1 Influenza vaccination clinics for children aged 6 months through 9 years old on Saturday, November 28 and Monday November 30. There is no cost for this vaccination. If children have already experienced influenza-like illness, unless it was laboratory confirmed as H1N1, vaccination is still recommended. The majority of available vaccine is Flu Mist, which is recommended for people between age 2 and 49 years old with no underlying health conditions. There will be a very small amount of injectable vaccine available. Clinics will remain open during the below listed times or until all vaccine has been given in the following communities:
