RURAL DEVELOPMENT

Broadly, this category includes:

-          U.S. Department of Agriculture funding designated for Watershed and Flood Prevention Operations ($290 million); Rural Community Facilities Program ($130 million); Rural Water and Waste Disposal Program ($1.38 billion); and Distance Learning, Telemedicine and Broadband Programs ($2.5 billion)

Watch for additional information about any opportunities St. Louis County may access. We are currently watching the Rural Community Facilities Program details, as this funding will include loans and grants to local organizations for construction or maintenance of rural community facilities, including correctional facilities such as those administered by Arrowhead Regional Corrections.
